spitting the new smoking

I get very mad at people who smoke and have decided that if they pollute the air of everyone without asking there should be socially acceptable repercussions.  My suggestions is that if someone smokes where you have to breathe, it is OK to spit at them.  It is much less harmful to them and just like you have a chance to get lung cancer from secondary smoke, they only have a chance of getting hepatitis from spit.
