No one can ever take away the feeling of having a lifetime of losing lifted like it was in 2004, but I am now on a red sox moratorium. It will be a long time before I care or spend money on anything related to baseball for a long time. I would rather have not won the world series. I just put all my Red Sox stuff in a box, they are dead to me.

I no longer go out of my way to watch Red Sox games, if they are on, I may look. I still talk about them, but much more like a dead relative than something that is an active part of my life. You just caught me in a moment of forgetfulness.
