When have we ever had such abundance of Jewish professional athletes in Boston and they are all good. Casey Kotchman, Kevin Yokilis and now Edelman from the patriots. I love Edelman, because I don’t even know if he is Jewish, but I also did not know that he was on the Patriots. He seems to play a position we have covered with Wes Welker, he also looks like him and plays like him. But we have Edelman. If he becomes great we can say things like Montana to Rice, and Brady to Edelman or Rice, Rashad, Moss and Edelman.
The possibilities are endless!
I saw on Boston.com that Julian Edelman ran back a kick for a TD, and I immediately wondered whether he was Jewish, and figured I should come here. I love this blog!
Great to know I am the authority on Jews in sports!
As far as the powers that be are aware, Kotchman is NOT Jewish. What is your reference for him?
I used to go to elementary school with a kid name Kotchman who was Jewish. Currently looking for a second source.
What about Feldman the pitcher from Texas?
Are you posing questions to yourself in your own blog? Are you going to come back and answer your question? Or are you throwing it out there in case Ron Kaplan has not sworn off coming back here after you’re response to him in hopes he has the answer.
BTW, Feldman is Jewish. I saw it in an article in the Globe. Also, Ian Kinsler (who knew?).
I hear from Gabe Kapler they have some great shuls in Dallas.
